I was driving through the Sinaloan jungle on my way to a town called San Ignacio. Upon arrival I was told there’s a woman on the side of the road that makes the best traditional Mexican breakfast in town. I had to stop by for a visit and see what the locals are eating in this remote part of the country. I was given chilorio which is a typical Mexican breakfast from the state of Sinaloa. We had some Mexican tortillas to go with as some Mexican veggies as well as fresh Mexican cheese which I have yet to try. The total per person was $4.50 USD. The owner runs the shop by her self so I gave her a little extra to help out. She is a hard working woman cooking up some delicious authentic Mexican breakfast.
